Rukia Hatibu is a Tanzanian independent curator, artist and creative writer. She is the creator of the performance and visual arts platform Annoyin’Artist in Arusha, Tanzania; and has showcased her work in form of poetry, monologues and installations in Tanzania, Kenya and Ghana. A Tedx Speaker, she continues to address the responsibility and importance of uninhibited self-expression in the African culture. She is the Head of the Science-In-To-Use (SITU) Department at AfricaCademy - Arusha Science School, working towards the transformation of teaching and learning of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
